Dream

When I was young
I had a dream
To be the best
That I could be.
I dreamt this day
And I dreamt this night
I prayed to the Lord
For me to win this fight.
Now I'm older
And I know what God says
"You must win this
On your own"
On my own I'll be the best.
On my own I'll dream new dreams.
On my own I'll pray to God.
And hear him say
"This fight is won"
