How many other people are having troubles with college? It is so frustrating to try to juggle everything that they throw at you!

Goal

When I was young
I had a goal.
To get through school
With good grades
And lots of friends.
Now I'm older
And I know
Good grades are
Hard to get
And some friendships
Never last.
I'll do my best
To get good grades.
I'll do my best
To keep my friends.
I'll do my best
To reach my goal.
But I know its
Still possible,
That my goal
Was a little
Farther than
I hoped to
Reach.

Plan

When I was young
I had a plan
To find the best
Man I can.
I would find him
And we would marry.
We would have a family.
Now I'm older
I still want that man.
It will take longer
Than I planned.
I'll take my time
And finish my plan.
I'll go to college
Get a job,
I'll find my man
When I can.

Dream

When I was young
I had a dream
To be the best
That I could be.
I dreamt this day
And I dreamt this night
I prayed to the Lord
For me to win this fight.
Now I'm older
And I know what God says
"You must win this
On your own"
On my own I'll be the best.
On my own I'll dream new dreams.
On my own I'll pray to God.
And hear him say
"This fight is won"

Fear

When I was young
I had a fear
That if I ever
Missed a kiss
Or a hug.
That I would not
Sleep well
That night.
Now I'm older
I still love
To get a kiss
And a hug
But I know
I can go to sleep
Without one.

Love

Love is a gift given by God.
You are meant to share it
with the one you love.

Love is not meant to sit
unused in your heart.
You must share your love
with all those you care.

Friends, Family, and the
whole world.
Learn to love the
way they should.

And on your marriage day
you show your love
with not only your new
life long partner.
But with all your
Family and Friends too.

Blizzard

Snow flies past the window.
Thoughts flow through the mind.
Emotions run through the heart.
Blizzards are majestic storms
that start with the smallest of breezes.
They end with the most beautiful scenes.
Snow drifts pile up high.
Thoughts fill up white pages.
Emotions make poems.
